Can you identify a tree for me?

Happy Sunday to all!!

I think this is a tree or a bush, I really am confused now..... Actually the first picture is some kind of lily i think and if anyone could identify it I would be much obliged, but I have this rather tall kinda bush/tree thing that has just gotten these beautiful blooms on them, I have one with white flowers and one with a kinda of pink/purple thing going on.

The flowers have just opened in the past few days and I am having a hard time identifying it by just the leaf ( naturally they ask nothing about the flower!), some sources say a mulberry, other said sassafras, so what am I doing wrong on this ID website that confuses me!! The leaves look nothing like the tree leaves that they show so is it just a bush? Anyone know what it is by the flower?

The first photograph (marked as some kind of lily?) is of Canna sp. It is not a lily. It is a herbaceous plant with underground rhizome. It has beautiful flowers which are not seen in the present photograph.

All the other photographs are of Hibiscus flower and plants. These are the colourful ornamentals which come in different colors. The present photographs are with single whorl of petals but there are varieties with many whorls of petals and colours.
