The embossing wheel is one of the tools used for creating designs in leather. Tool used for creating designs the leather is usually made of metal. May be purchased from internet companies that specialize in making tools, and craft store, or they may purchased from companies that supply of leather or leather products.
Leather must be moistened heavy when you are about to start embossing. This will allow the stiffness of a design to form when the leather dries. Choose a wheel with the pattern of your desired and attach them to the wheel carriage.
While firmly gripping the handle, roll the wheel to the "wrong" side of the leather, to the point where you want the design to appear. When the leather dries, design is elevated to the right.
If metal is heated, changes the color of leather. It also allows for a deeper impression created in leather. Leather craft is an art and work produced is now enjoyed for years to come!
