Polymer clay gone hard?
My polymer clay (sculpey and fimo) has gone hard/dry as I have not used it in a while, even though it was carefully packaged away after my last use.
What are some (preferably easy) ways I can 'rejuvenate' my polymer clay?
This stuff, see below. Quick Fix it rejuvenates hard fimo and is made for the purpose. Ask your supplier if they can get it for you or order on-line. I've used it and it really does work. I think you need about 1/3 of the quick fix bar for a whole bar of fimo colour. Quick Fix makes it really soft so you may find you need to use less than recommended. Use a small bit and add until you have the desired consistency. It turns the colour paler but this does disappear when you bake it.
