i want pure white hair, and i dont know wat bleaching is, i need a home recipe.... any?
i want pure white hair, but my parents said theyd let me but wouldnt help, i need a cheap but working home recipe to make my hair white... any ideas?
lol. no. there are no home recipes to color hair white. it's hard to do, even with hair bleach, and a toner. i don't want to bore you on the differences between bleaches and peroxides and what toners are and how to use them, so i'll try to make it as short as i possibly can. my hair's white. i've had at least 11 cosmetologists as me how i do it. i use prism lites blue hair bleach from sally's. it's blue so it neutralizes the brassiness color you normally get from hair bleach. it makes you have the palest blonde you can get, which is what you want. i bleach my hair with that and 30 volume peroxide. i also have a white packet with green writing on it that i mix with my bleach to make my scalp not burn. i leave it in my hair for about 60 minutes, because you're not suppose to use heat with the bleach, eventough i may start... than i don't go with the toning directions and i mix about one part 323 clairol professional toner with two parts 10 volume peroxide, i do this because i'm not the best at judging when hair it toned enough. when i followed the directions i got purple hair 
this got my hair a snow white, which i was proud of because it's very hard to accomplish. i also use shimmer lights shampoo for blonde and silver hair. it's purple and i use a small amount and it keeps my hair white. i also use a purple moose(sp? lol) that turns my hair white. use a LOT of deep conditioning treatments and don't use colored shampoo except for blues and purples. keep these limited, also. using orange or green shampoo will make your hair, orange and green. and don't comb or brush your hair very hard, it'll be fragile and will break easily. after all, all your hair will be is a very thin, hollow tube, because you literally have bleached all the color, proteins and all, out of it.
