What are some good polymer clay projects for our new home?
We moved to our new home this month and I want to make some interesting but useful pieces that we can keep at home. I use FIMO. Thanks
"Help" the items from polymer clay covers so much ground that it is difficult to suggest just a few! Here are some possibilities like off the top of my head: ... vases ... votive holders candle and other light-famous through things ... frames ... boxes of all kinds ... bowls ... "cover" all kinds of things with decorative clay, from the silverware handles many-many steel, glass, ceramic, wood and even some plastic items (switchplates, for example) ... decorative magnets for the frig ... fan light pulls or pulls ... masks (for wall perhaps) ... external things like Windchimes, plaques, plant markers, planter pots, full "face," etc. ... mosaics (regular or "micro-mosaics) ... polymer clay" painting "... seasonal items (Christmas & winter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and fall, Valentine's, etc., etc.) ... decorative tiles ... miniature "Zen garden or mow, etc. ... game pieces ... (then go to any of the page you see, click the page name from within the alphabetical navigation bar on the left) PS I do not know if you use FimoSoft or FimoClassic, but the FS is not quite as strong after the treatment of FC (or as Kato, Premo, Cernit or SuperSculpey-firm) for items or areas which are thin * or projecting. It is certainly to be stronger than the original Sculpey, SuperSculpey discharged, or Sculpey III in the event though. HTH, and have fun! Diane B.
