The Manchurian or Kombucha "mushroom" is widely used to boost the immune system. The name is kinda misleading because it is not a mushroom at all. It is like a flat, pancake-shaped combination of health promoting moss, large useful bacteria and yeast used in Asia as a natural energy booster for a very long time.
Kombucha is not eaten, but brewed in a powerful antiviral and antibacterial tea after it left the mess for a week or more in a mix of spring or filtered water, organic sugar, organic and green or black tea. Kombucha Tea is widely used to help fight immune related diseases and extremely useful to strengthen the immune system to fight swine flu, fight influenza and other other viruses have any side effects.
Kombucha not all are created equal. Look for Organic Raw Unpasteurized or Organic Kombucha Tea which is to cooling section of the store. I make tea at home both clear and taste that is very cheap. I also buy a brand GTS Synergy Kombucha Tea which has a high quality, Raw, and also come in flavors.
Well i dose drink Kombucha every day for about a year now and I probably drink about a size wine glass 3 times a day before or the food. If you never had tea, it is best to start with about 2oz a day for Plus 2oz week after a day 3 times a day for about another week or so. After drinking it as much as you want but its best divided up Kombucha consumption throughout the day.
It is not recommended to give children under 13 years old Kombucha Tea. Not enough study was designed to determine whether or not the tea is safe for pregnant or nursing mother.
