Simply put, the universe is space where we live, it contains a bunch of over two hundred billion stars including our Sun, and indeed our solar system. This is just one of over a hundred billion galaxies in the universe remarkable. Our solar system is located in one of six spiral arms of Galaxy named Orion, If you are around that have really dark sky at night is far away from artificial light pollution you can see the Milky Way. It appears as a blurry band of light forming a large arc that spirals across the sky. It is almost as old as the universe itself, the oldest star found that more than thirteen billion years old. The name itself, Milky Way, is a translation from Greek, Galaxis, which came from the word milk, from the look of the finished milk to heaven. In fact, the Galaxy is first follow the Greek philosopher Anaxagoras the fifth century BCE. Proof of the long debated theory that the Milky Way consists of a cluster of stars arrived in 1610 with the Galileo system. In 1755, Immanuel Kant correctly speculated that the Milky Way revolves around a body of a large number of stars held together in by gravitational forces such as solar system but at a huge scale. And is a huge scale - the circle being between two hundred and fifty and three hundred light years! As large as that it is, astronomers are confronted with massive problems when trying to observe, because the Earth is part of the Galaxy, they can not go to them to study it. Thus, they explore other galaxies and apply what they learn from viewing them onto the Galaxy.
