Metallic/Copper taste 20 weeks pregnant?
For the past 2 days I've had this really bad copper taste in my mouth, everytime after I eat more so when I drink anything, it tastes horrible!
I was reading that some pregnant women experience this , but why would I at 20 weeks and not sooner?
What causes it ?
I had this for 2 pregnancies. First one (girl), not so bad...subsided by 11 wks. My third pregnancy (boy)--I had this up to 16 wks. I would say if you are dealing with this now--probably just a change in hormones. I hated the taste, and drank lemonade a lot. Just consult your Dr at your next visit.
