A modern spa is an amazingly complex piece of equipment. It consists of water pumps, heater, air pumps lady, computers, control systems, Ozonators, the fiber optic lighting, sanitation systems, Misters, stereo system, TV systems, filters, etc.. etc. Learning the basics of Spa-order will save you thousands of dollars during the life of your spa.
In this series we will take you through the most common issues in front of the house owner.
Let start with the most common problems; â € œ IIs Getting Warmâ €.
There could be many different reasons for this;
Your spa filer (s), may be dirty. Most of the time spa is not heating is simply a matter of going your existing spa filter, rinsed them,  with a high pressure hose and reinstall it again. The purpose of the filter is to catch the debris. Debris that needs to be removed from a filter a few times each month. If your spa heating ISNA € ™ t and you know that your Filters havenâ € ™ t be kept for a whileâ € |. Try it. Now there is always the chance that your filters are â € ~ beyond all hope of recoveryâ € ™, in that case, please just go and get new ones. Good filter is important, not only for heat your spring minerals, but mainly for your health. The best way to test it is remove the filters and see if heat comes ona € |. If this , your filter is at fault na
There are situations where the spa filters look quite white and clean, but they is really completely clogged. This happens if your spa water is high pH for a while. At high pH near calcium deposits. It is very difficult to see, but if you remove your spa filter and the heater turns on, Â you a filter issue
Another reason why your groundwater mineral ISNA € ™ t heating may be that your pump is clogged with debris. This can happen if your filters are removed, for any that short time, and things got sucked in pump. If you think this has happened, you can bring your equipment and try to fix yourself, or call your local the spa repair company.
One of the main reasons why your spa is not heating your heater is not working. There are mainly two types of spa heaters, gas or electricity. Most above ground spa with electric heat. The electrical element heating only last so long. The heating element is in contact with water all the time. And its lifespan depends on how well the water chemistry is kept up. For example, if the pH is low for a long time, that means that the water is acidic. Acid eats metal and liquor consists of metal⠀ |.
Always check your incoming electrical power to the spa. It is very common that the problem is as simple as A tripped circuit breaker. Just turn it back on again. A word of caution here: If you open the circuit breaker back on and it trips again right away. Call your local Spa Repair Company immediately. You have a problem here. Do not go in the water until they repaired it.
The Pumpâ € |. The faulty pump will prevent the spa from heating up. The water pump circulates within the element of heat, causing the spa to get warm. If the bomb stops the control system will not let the heater turn on. One common problem with bombs is that the pump seal is broken. Most the time it is difficult noticed this problem early on. It usually starts as a tiny little leak in the bomb. The three are progressively getting bigger and bigger and my time you see a drop of water that comes from under the spa, pump is in bad shape. Sometimes a seal may change, but many times you have to get a new bomb. If you hear a â € € œfunnyâ sound from the bomb, call Your technician. If you caught it enough you saved yourself $ 500 - $ 700 usually.
