Glacier Photos
Glacier National Park located in north-western Montana is one of the most popular national parks in the United States. The glacier park offers you many interesting and beautiful sights that other national parks do not provide.
The national park is known to Native Americans as the ‘Backbone of the World’ and the ‘Shining Mountains’.
To click some of the best ever glacier pictures, it is best to get up early. The sunrise provides a matchless multitude of blues, oranges and yellows to create the perfect Glacier National Park photos opportunity. Later, as the earth warms, the magnificent lakes are transformed into valleys covered with fog, creating a mystical scene perfect for clicking glacier park pictures.
One of the best spots for glacier park photos is the west end of St. Mary’s lake. The lake is not only painted in wonderful colours of yellow and orange but the mountains are painted orange and red too. Another good place for taking magnificent Glacier National Park pictures is the view west from St, Mary Lake. The overlook across the lake with Wild Goose Island in the foreground and the glaciers and peaks at the lake’s west end provide some of the best glaciers pictures in the world.
When the Logan Pass is carpeted with wildflowers, it is also a sight not to be missed. Late-day glacier photos of the Garden Wall from the west of Logan Pass also make dramatic glacier park photos.
