how to strip color from leather in the crust stage?
If you have a crust leather it is likely to have been dyed right through with aniline dye so there is no colour to remove from the surface. Stripping implies removing colour from the surface. You may be able to chnage the colour to a certain extent with more aniline dye or by adding pigment to the surface of the leather.
If you used bleach it would damage the leather itself so then would not be useable.
If any colour has been added to the surface (pigment) then you will need a solvent stripper to remove this and the finish that will be over the top.
