Average Price for Mat & Framing a painting?
I need to get a paiting that I purchased in Venice this summer and matted framed it is a little bigger than 5x7 it's an odd number so it must be custom. I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of what could cost before I go and it is done. Thanx.
Like most things in the range is huge, it depends on the quality of frame and mat you choose. I do not think it is possible to get the door for less than $ 100. The cost saving option may find the output frame (and flea market can be good sources) and then have a mat custom made to fit the frame and painting together. Good luck!
