One size does not fit all when it comes to sandal foot support. Most problems with our feet not caused by improper footwear, so it is important to determine what kind of foot you have, then purchase the appropriate footwear for your feet. So much is riding on the feet that do not want to risk them!
When you are talking about the foot support sandals, one needs to refer to proper support for the average population and proper support for with what is commonly referred to as "flat feet".
Birkenstock conducted a study * of subjects in both flatfooted and topics regular subject, and scientists came to the following decisions;
Flat Feet need a higher arch supports
For flat feet or pes planus, a moderately high arch support will result in faster walking speed and a stronger overall foot. It is high recommended that the flat feet purchase a sandal with arch support.
Average Feet Need Room

First of all, sandal should have some more room. There should be very tight, and your feet should not touch the edge of the sandal. Ensure 1 / 8 to 1 / 4 inch of space all the way around your foot.

Just as you left room for your feet around the edge of the sandal, you need to make sure you leave an extra inch or a strap on top of your foot to account for the activity and for swelling. A little slack keeps your feet healthy!
Inappropriate? Get vaulted Support
If you are overweight you are more subject to plantar fasciitis, or pain in the heel caused by overstressed feet. It is often spike to feet first thing in the morning.
Get some of the load by a moderately high arch support, as prescribed for flat feet. Your head will thank you when they do not hurt anymore! plantar fasciitis can actually be like you stretched a muscle or tendon, because that is essentially what is happening. If you just started a training lifestyle, reach your feet more; this is probably the reason instead of your slippers. You just need to keep moving and pain left.
