Life is not the sweetest candy. Sometimes, if I feel like the world is just too heavy, I look around and find people who continue to live glamor and wonderful life. And then thoughts come popping into my mind like bubbles from nowhere - "How did their lives become this adorably sweet? How come they still can manage to laugh and play around despite a busy life stress? "Then I pause and observed for a while ... I have figured out that maybe, they start to work in a place called 'self'.
So, how does one be truly happy? Step 1 is to love yourself.
My theology professor once said that "loving means accepting that." To love yourself means to accept that you are not a perfect person, but behind the imperfections must lie a great ounce of courage to be able to discover ways on how how to improve your repertoire to recover from our mistakes.
True happiness also pertains to security. When you are satisfied with your work, the system you look, your family, your friends, the places to live, your car, and all the things you now have - actually, you know the answers to "how to be really fun."
When we discover a small start somewhere from within, that small start will eventually lead something else, and other factors. But if you keep questioning life like it never has done you any good, you will not be able to find true happiness.
I believe that life is about finding out about right and wrong, testing and failure, wining and losing. These are things that happen as often as you inhale and exhale. Failure, the life of a man became as abundant and necessary as wind. But this should not prevent us from being happy.
How to be really fun despite all of this? I tell you ... every time you try to efforts to improve the quality of life and your personality, whether it be cleaning up your room, helping a friend, taking care of your sick dog, fail the exam board and trying again, life gives you equivalent points for that.
I thought life as a big board as a mark of which are used in NFLs. Every time you take a step forward, you make scoring points. Would not it nice to see the board at the end of each one game and think to yourself "whew! I'm getting a point today. I'm glad I gave it a firing gun.", instead of looking at all it blank and murmur "Geez, I do not see even score a hit today. I would I had the courage to try. Can we won!" And then walked away.
True happiness is not about driving the Hottest Formula 1 car, or getting employees year award, earning the highest 13th month pay, or beating the sales quota. Sometimes the most sought after prizes in life does not always go the fastest, the strongest, the bravest or not even the best. So, how do you become truly happy? Each one has its own definition of 'happiness'. Happiness for a writer can tell the launch of several best selling books as possible. Happiness for a basketball rookie may mean getting the rookie of the year award. Happiness for a beggar may mean a lot of money. Happiness for one person business can mean success. So, really now, how can we be really fun? Simple. No need to have the best things in the world. Its about building and making the best of each thing. When you find yourself smiling at your own mistakes and say to yourself "Oh, I see better next time", take you to a fire strong power to persevere that may spread out like a brush fire. Possess a willingness to stand again and try - to make you a very happy people.
If you learn to accept yourself and your own faults. You pass step 1 of project "how to be really fun. For as long as you know how to accept others, you also accepted. For as long as you love and know how to love, you will receive love back ten fold.
Again, throw me that same question "how to be truly happy?". I'll refer you to a friend of mine who strongly quoted-"Most of you know us that laughter is the best medicine Namumulang life and disease. But most of us do not know that the best kind of laughter is laughter itself. cousin and then will not only be fun ... you become free. "
