Does anyone know how to dry hydrangeas properly?
When is the best time to cut the flowers and what the best way of drying them please.I several slices of two weeks ago, but only that they dry rather than dry.
While it is fascinating to cut hydrangea blossoms for building the height of their color, it rarely, if ever, works. Fresh, recently opened blooms, rarely also dried in the open air. Hydrangeas best when allowed to dry a bit before choosing to plant. Experiment harvest from August through October. It is not necessary to hang with them unless They have weak stems.
