How do I Melt my freezer?
I defrosted it once a couple of weeks ago, with warm water in a bowl and a backward knife. It is all right for a while, but I opened it yesterday and it has nothing wrong with frosting again. Its not my freezer, my owner, and it is pretty old. Thanks for all your answers so far! I'm going to leave it open to get it to Melt and I are going to see if the door is shutting properly and if it is then it probably would be the postage. Oh, I want to know also, why it would freeze up when door is open? I dont know much about freezers etc. Thanks.
Either Miss Terry is right, or something is keeping the door from closing all ways. Check the contents of the freezer and see If that's the case. It is cheaper than replacing the seal.
